The class of 2020 has swept the 10th grade category with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the Hitachi Robot Design Contest! After Ms. Siner introduced the sophomores to many of the problems in LA county, they set out to solve the issues we see with technology.
In the end, Namita Shyam, Euan Ramos, and Minju Kim won 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place respectively. The prizes were $100 for 1st, $50 for 2nd, and $25 for 3rd place. In addition, the teacher of the first place winner, aka Ms. Siner, received $100 for this accomplishment.
As many of you already know AOC is a school that constantly strives for achievement, and we are so proud of our peers for showing once again why AOC is held in such high esteem. Now, we can only hope that next year's sophomores keep the tradition going!
